ServicesThe services provided by the water treatment supplier are the key to a successful and cost effective water treatment program. The following is a list and explanation of the many services provided by WaterKem, Inc. at no additional charge. CONSULTING SERVICE VISITS AND REPORTSWaterKem, Inc. support will visit the facility to ensure proper control of the water treatment program. Services available on these visits include training of personnel, verification of test procedures, review of daily test logs, on-site water analysis and any other services necessary to achieve the desired results. A full written report will be submitted at the conclusion of each service call. INVENTORY CONTROL REPORTWaterKem, Inc. will inventory all treatment chemicals and submit a report including product on hand, daily usage and total days supply of each product. Reagent inventories will also be monitored. EMERGENCY SERVICEWaterKem, Inc. will be available 24 hours a day, seven days a week, and will make emergency call immediately. SOFTENER RESIN ANALYSISAs requested, resin from the zeolite softeners will be sampled and analyzed once per year to insure that the resin is clean and in proper working condition. WaterKem, Inc. offers a full line of ion exchange resins and resin cleaners for your plant in the event that analysis reveals the need for cleaning or replacement of the existing resin. SOURCE WATER ANALYSISAt least once per year, WaterKem, Inc. will provide a complete analysis of water from city mains and any on-site water wells. COMPENSATE CORROSION COUPONSCorrosion coupons of applicable metals will be monitored on a regular basis in your condensate return line system. Coupon analysis can be scheduled on a monthly basis or on a graduated 30, 60 and 90 day rotation. ADDITIONAL LABORATORY ANALYSESWaterKem, Inc. has full laboratory analytical capabilities to offer your facility as needed. This service is offered at no additional charge. CHEMICAL SAFETY SEMINARSAt least once per year, seminars will be conducted to train plant personnel in safe handling procedures for all water treatment chemicals. Issues such as safety equipment, OSHA regulations and practical considerations will all be reviewed during these seminars. SEMIANNUAL REVIEWSA formal review of the water treatment program will be conducted semiannually. This review will include engineering staff, supervisors, operators and WaterKem, Inc. personnel. Program stated, problems, accomplishments, treatment costs and future projects will all be discussed at these reviews. We feel that this service is essential to provide the best possible treatment program for our customers. WATER TREATMENT MANUALSWaterKem, Inc. will compile a custom water treatment manual for your facility. These manuals will serve as a permanent training guide, troubleshooting aid and communication vehicle for the facility. Items included in your manual will include: (A) Control limits, dosages and test procedural (B) Product information and safety data sheets (C) Chemical feed and control equipment manuals (D) System capabilities, single line diagrams and other operating conditions (E) General water analysis treatment principles (F) Any other necessary specific information for your facilityEQUIPMENT INSPECTIONSInspection of any and all related systems and equipment is essential to maintaining and improving a water treatment program. WaterKem, Inc. will provide photographs and written reports of our findings. ENERGY ANALYSISAn analysis of energy savings is offered throughout the year. The information is provided during service calls, seminars and special projects. WaterKem, Inc. focuses on providing savings for your operation. TECHNICAL SEMINARSWaterKem, Inc. addresses changes in technology and any questions posed by operating engineers, pipefitters, supervisors and other concerned parties. These seminars will be custom tailored to the specific needs of your facility. | |
